Junior Outdoor World Championships - Mérida - 2009
[edit]According to FITA, at the Junior Outdoor World Championships - Mérida - 2009, the Compound Junior Women's gold medal went to Doris Jones of Canada. CJW/Gold: Doris Jones /CAN 26-54-82-109 over Laura Longo /ITA 26-51-76-103 Canada and India in Compound, Korea and France in Recurve (21 October 2006). Based on this, I have corrected the Mérida 2009 entry for Anastasia Anastasio's article. At age 16 she competed in Mérida as a cadet, winning a gold in the women's 3rd Cadet World Championships in compound bow. I have provided a World Archery Federation citation. --Bejnar (talk) 17:16, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
- I suspect that in 2005 and likely in 2007 she participated as a "cadet" and not as a "junior". Some enterprising editor could check and make the corrections as necessary. --Bejnar (talk) 17:23, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
